At UNIVERSAL CYCLE, one of our passions is racing.  All types, but drag racing is closest to heart.  Our Mac's Motorsports Dragbike Team is second to none, with multi-championship riders.  Don Fergin, and Greg Westling have a combined 55 years of racing experience! 

Our championship motorcycle-powered Mac's Motorsports Legends Car is now a page in history.  Driver Brent Hackl has come over to the dark side (drag racing!) and will be introducing his Mac's Motorsports '27 Ford Roadster to the drag strip this year.  Universal Cycle continues to provide the horsepower, even though this one has a 502 cubic inch big-block Chevy!

2009 Racing Results

The 2009 Drag Racing season has come to a close and is now a page in history!

Hello everyone, Fans, Sponsors and Racing partners:

Another season has come and gone and it just seems like yesterday.  The Macs Motorsports/Universal Cycle Dragbike Team (Greg "Bent valve" Westling and "Dangerous" Don Fergin) or the Badboys as Ron Thompson calls us had another great year, finishing the Season with all the equipment still running and more than a few accomplishments. Another 10,000 Road Kms would be behind us. We raced 3 sanctions (CMDRA, MHDRA and CDRA) and 5 different Race tracks all over Western Canada.

This finish got me enough points to repeat as Track Champ #1 at the Hat . Gotta love the Hat having won 4- #1 plates in 5 years and Greg won the one in the middle.
