It's all wrapped up and here is a Season Review for the Mac's Motorsports / Universal Cycle Dragbike Team (The Bad Boys) as Ron Thompson from Mac's Convenience Stores calls us. "Dangerous" Don Fergin and Greg "Bent Valve" Westling.

We did it! We accomplished just what we set out to do this season and we couldn't have done it without everyone's support . From teammates to crew, sponsors and racing partners, race fans and everyone involved..... THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

2007 Racing Results

The Mac's Motorsports / Universal Cycle Drag Bike Team had a great year that saw 10,000 kms road miles, racing at 5 different drag strips and contesting 3 separate series and 1 special event.

The IRHA Rocky Mountain Nationals in Edmonton was host to the inaugural Mac's Bike/Sled class that saw 22 competitors compete in front of 50,000+ fans.  Don and Greg were proud to compete in this Mac's sponsored event.

When the season wound down the damage was done and for us this meant no major breakage!

2004 News

2004 marked a really sad time with the passing of a dear friend, motorcycle mechanic & racing partner, Al Hundt.

Allan Hundt of Calgary passed away on June 9, 2004 at the age of 38 years.  Allan was born on March 15, 1966 in Calgary.  He was an avid racer and enjoyed the competition at Race City Speedway.  Besides his loving mother Erika Christie of Calgary, Allan is remembered by his brother Rick Hundt of Golden, BC; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Allan was predeceased by his father Richard Hundt.

2003 Racing Results

Universal Cycle/Mac's Drag Bikes finished the season with "spectacular" results, including a major engine explosion in Medicine Hat by Don Fergin at the 1,000 foot mark, completely destroying the motor but winning the round.

2002 Racing Results

2002 was another great season for the Universal Cycle / Mac's Motorsports racing teams!

Mac's Drag Bikes finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the ultra-competitive drag bike class at Race City Motorsport Park.

The #3 Mac's Legends car, sponsored by Mac's, PEPSI, and Universal Cycle, finished 2nd again in the Legends PRO division - 2 years in a row now!  The driver, Brent Hackl, was the 2000 champion in Semi-Pro before moving up to the PRO class.  Check it out at www.raceit.ca.

Mac's Kart Racer, Randy Thompson, finished 1st in the Senior Reed / Rotary kart class.  Randy is sponsored by Universal Cycle.
