About Draggin Jeans
Draggin Jeans is
an Australian owned company that was establised in 1997. Draggin Jeans
clothing is lined with hi-tech soft knitted Kevlar®
Unobtanium. The name Draggin is a combination of dragon, which has
the toughest skin of any mythical creature and dragging, from the famous
drag test they have performed many
times.
Draggin Jeans has been in jeans manufacturing
since 1987. It was previously associated with an apparel manufacturing
company which won a prestigious "Manufacturer of the Year" award in 1998.
The apparel manufacturing company made approximately one million pairs of
jeans and other casual items each year for well known international brands
such as Levis, Wrangler, Lee, Country Road and Quicksilver.
Today, Draggin Jeans casual fashion clothing
range unites safety and comfort to create a versatile clothing range for men
and women, ranging from jeans to brightly colored camouflage, to chinos,
cargos, jackets, Kevlar®
T-shirts and accessories. Draggin Jeans use extensive experience
to choose only the best quality fabrics, accessories and manufacturing
techniques for all Draggin clothing.

What is
Kevlar® ?
Kevlar is a soft
knitted non-abrasive material and is comfortable against the skin. The
fabric is unique in construction and offers breathability and flexibility.
The material itself is designed to dissipate heat quickly and distribute air
evenly through the fibres.
How Strong is
Kevlar® ?
Kevlar is a man made fibre, which offers incredible protection against
abrasion, cuts and heat. Five times stronger than steel pound for
pound, flame resistant up to 400 degrees Celsius and exceptionally cut and
slash resistant.
Kevlar® in
various forms is used in ropes that tie up ships, clothing worn by
saw-millers, firefighters, glass handlers and air force pilots, tank armour,
airplane wings and lightweight canoes.
Probably the
best known is the production of bullet proof vests! - although constructed
in a different way (lets face it who wants to wear a bullet proof vest on
their arse!)
The knitted
Kevlar® fabric cannot be easily ripped, torn or damaged in any way apart
from manually cutting with scissors and the like. Draggin Jeans use
Kevlar® that is 100% pure military grade, which has been
specially constructed in a world class facility that has been working with
Kevlar® since it was first discovered.
The Draggin'
Jeans Kevlar® is fully machine washable / dryable and requires no
maintenance, they look good, feel comfortable and most importantly... they
work!
Draggin
Products, enhancing the pleasure and safety of motorcycling.
Beware of imitations!

FAQ's:
Q: How do I get my size right?
A:
See above for the correct ways to measure
yourself.
Q: What
Lengths do the pants come in?
A:
All men's come with a 34 inch inseam. Women's come with a 32 inch
inseam. Draggin Jeans make them slightly longer than usual, and
recommend that you put your boots on and sit on you bike to check the length
before hemming.
Q: Where
should the Kevlar® be on my knee?
A:
The kevlar should start just above the knee in standing position and the
knee should still be well covered in the riding position. Draggin
Jeans adds more Kevlar® at no extra cost if neede for very tall people.
Q:
Can I retro waterproof my Draggin Jeans?
A: Draggin Jeans has a number of customers who have used
Nikwax very successfully
for this purpose.
Nikwax is used by many major brands where waterproofing is required. |
